Fabricated of UV-stabilized Sch 80 PVC, transition couplings are specifically designed to provide excellent mechanical connections between HDPE and PVC conduit.
Transition couplings feature a socket end for PVC pipe and an opposite end with self-tapping threads for simple connectors to polyethylene conduit. Installation involves a screw, glue and slip process that can be made completely water-tight with the application of a thread sealing compound.
