Dat@Term
terminal bunching/commoning blocks are designed for a wide range
of applications. Based on the same technologies that have made
Tyco Electronics’ sealed connections the industry standard,
the bunching/commoning blocks add a new level of simplicity
and efficiency in the network!
Available in 1- and 2-line configurations, each block incorporates
8 rotating toggles for toolless, pair-at-a-time IDC terminations
that connect, protect, and environmentally gel seal 22 to 26
AWG insulated solid conductors. The block uses an incorporated
slotted mounting foot to mount easily into a wide range of locations
and applications.

| DTerminator
3 terminals are high density, environmentally sealed terminal
blocks that provide toolless operation for Pedestal, Pole Mount,
and Strand Mount applications.
Subscriber connections can be made on 19 to 26 AWG solid copper
conductors without stripping the insulation or requiring any
special adapters. Patented GelGuard sealing gel technology provides
superior sealing performance in environmentally demanding terminal
applications.
Two versions are available- Standard
and SwitchTerm terminals. SwitchTerm terminals enable disconnecting
and
re-connecting the downstream (field side) conductors of each
pair by simply flipping a switch. This feature also allows maximum
utilization of previous deployed copper. |
| QUIET FRONT
cross connect modules are designed to connect telephone distribution
lines with individual drop wires. These blocks are capable of
terminating 18.5 AWG (1.02 mm) and 22-24 AWG (0.65-0.50 mm)
wires. The QUIET FRONT cross connect modules will terminate
two wires of either size at each post. The use of a new user-friendly,
rotary insulation displacement design provides precise termination
in 1/4" turn of the lug. The
contact design also protects the drop wires from nicks during
the termination process.

| The DTerminator
2 ICT/ICX/ICP integrated closure terminal is a strand-mounted,
free breathing, aerial closure terminal intended for new construction
and rehabilitation,
providing mechanical strength, security, and environmental protection
for your splice. The kit contains four main components: two
gel end-pieces, one central housing, and one DTerminator 2 terminal
block. The product is available in two splice chamber sizes:
A and B with any block size up to 25 pair. |

with a versatile mounting system suitable for attachment to
any pedestal faceplate. This model cannot be protected. |

2 SCT/SCX/SCP strand-mounted
aerial terminal is intended for new construction and rehabilitation,
providing mechanical strength, security, and environmental protection
for wire connection. The SCT terminal consists of two main components:
a central housing and a DTerminator 2 terminal block.
Tyco Electronics’ unique IIDC (inverted insulation displacement
connector) accommodates 1.02 - .51mm (18 - 24AWG) subscriber
wires without stripping the
insulation or using special tools. Wires can be connected and
disconnected many times, even after prolonged exposure to extreme
temperatures. |

2 XCX/XCP pole, strand, or wall mount closure terminal is intended
for new construction and rehabilitation, providing mechanical
strength, security, and environmental protection for your connection.
The kit consists of two main components: a plastic housing and
a
DTerminator 2 6-pair cross connect block.
Tyco Electronics’ unique IIDC (inverted insulation displacement
connector) accommodates 1.02 - 51mm (18-24 AWG) subscriber wires
without stripping the insulation or using special tools. Wires
can be connected and disconnected many times, even after prolonged
exposure to extreme temperatures. |
| The TermSeal
terminal lug cap is a re-enterable sealing device that protects
terminal block lugs against damage from high humidity, corrosion,
and many other environmental influences. This fast and easy
method of encapsulation demonstrates exceptional performance,
even in severe environments.
TermSeal terminal lug caps consist of a polymeric cap filled
with encapsulating gel. This encapsulating gel conforms and
seals to the lug and wire, yet pulls away cleanly and can be
reused. |
