| The
CERTI-SEAL buried service wire closure bonds and
protects butt and in-line splices from 2 through
6 pairs.
• integral bonding
system
• easy to install,
one-piece snap-together latching system
• pre-installed gel seals out environment |
| The
PBSS pressure blocking system is a fast, simple,
and efficient method of forming a pressure dam in
telecommunications cable. It has been specifically
designed for use on polyethylene insulated conductor
cable.
PBSS closures incorporate SuperSleeve sealing material,
which combines the strength and durability of composite
design with proven heat-shrink technology. |

| The
PedCap RE closure system seals wirework on air-core
or filled cables in pedestals. It features a large
cap with a heat-shrinkable opening that fits over
a butt splice in new or existing pedestals. Four kit
sizes accommodate 25-pair to 900-pair cables. PedCap
RE closures can be installed in less than 15 minutes,
and provide complete environmental protection against
water, frost, humidity, sunlight, and insects. The
PedCap RE system can be reentered and resealed many
times by using the PedCap reclosure kit.

| TRAC
closures are toolless, mechanical, aerial closures
designed for free-breathing applications. The main
body is a wrap-around moulded part and the end pieces
use Raychem's innovative gel technology, providing
effective protection against water entry.
• up to 1800 pairs
• fast and easy to install
and re-enter
• straight and branching
configurations
• offers both venting
and draining functions
• For applications requiring
bonding hardware, different
kits are available.
|
| The
WRSS wraparound, heat-shrinkable repair sleeve is
made from the same composite material as the XAGA
closures. The sleeves are suitable for all types of
pressurised and unpressurised cables in direct buried,
ducted or aerial applications.
• sheath opening/damage
• bend cracks
• up to 200 mm diameter
cable

| The
XAGA 1000 pressurized splice closure system provides
a fast, simple way to seal telephone cable splices
in pressurized or nonpressurized telephone cable.
The XAGA 1000 splice closure is used for aerial, buried,
and
underground applications on polyethylene or lead sheathed
cable in sizes up to 3600 pairs.
The XAGA 1000 splice closure sleeve is made of SuperSleeve
sealing material which combines the strength and durability
of composite design with proven heat-shrink technology. |
| The
XAGA 1650 splice closure system provides a fast, simple
method for sealing and encapsulating buried splices.
Incorporating SuperSleeve material,
the XAGA 1650 closure also implements Raychem's urethane
delivery system, which drives encapsulant into the
core of the cable. The compact shape requires very
little encapsulant, is very easy to fill, and can
be reentered quickly. It is available in a wide range
of sizes to fit virtually any cable.
|
| Raychem's
self-adhering, heat-shrinkable VAAC and FAAC cable
end caps are used on polyethylene-jacketed cable,
pipes and conduits to seal out water and seal in pressure.
When fully recovered, VAAC and FAAC end caps bond
directly to the polyethylene cable jacket, eliminating
separate application of sealant, tapes, or hose clamps.
Highly resistant to impact, these reliable end caps
are available with or without valves.

The GSIC gel closure system
provides a reliable seal for
coax connectors used at the transition between jumper
and feeder cables on wireless communication towers.
The housing contains an innovative
gel material and provides an efficient moisture block.
The ease of installation and the long-term protection
afforded makes it a dependable and cost-effective
solution.
• versatile wrap-around design
• quick and easy to handle
• simple to remove and re-use
• the gel is effective in sealing over a wide
temperature
range (-30/+60°C)
• the IP 68 rating ensures an effective barrier
against the
ingress of water and other contaminants
• available for in-line and antenna transitions
