The DTerminator 2 SCT/SCX/SCP strand-mounted aerial terminal is intended for new construction and rehabilitation, providing mechanical strength, security, and environmental protection for wire connection. The SCT terminal consists of two main components: a DTerminator 2 terminal block and a
central housing.

Tyco Electronics’ unique IIDC (inverted insulation displacement connector) accommodates 1.02-.51mm (18 - 24AWG) subscriber wires without stripping the insulation or using special
tools. Wires can be connected and disconnected many times, even after prolonged exposure to extreme temperatures.

The DTerminator 2 SCT terminal is recommended for use on aerial cable (including self-supporting aerial cable). The SCT housing features a swingup door, facilitating drop wire installation.
