| SMOUV sleeves
for fiber-optic fusion splices can be used to rebuild the primary
coating of fiber to provide protection at the fusion joint area.
• Heat-shrinkable tube with hot-melt adhesive
• Different types assigned for single fiber and ribbon
fiber
• Guaranteed to be compatible with the full range of Raychem
fiber management systems and organizers
SMOUV sleeve consists of a rod for reinforcing the splice, a
low-temperature hot-melt adhesive to encapsulate and strengthen
the splice, and a clear, heat-shrinkable tube.

The FOSC splitter tray
(FOSC-OC) houses one or more integrated splitters.
• Symmetric and asymmetric splitters
• Variety of input/output configurations
• Fast and easy installation
• Splitters are available in FBT (Fused Biconical Tapered)
and planar waveguide technology.
• Planar waveguide splitters are standard packaged in
the
TOAST protective sealing for outside plant operation.
• "On-the-tray-splicing" and "black-box"
configurationsare
possible.
• This tray is available in three different sizes and
fits in any
enclosure, box or sub-rack that accepts FOSC trays.

| Connectorized
single fiber cables (pigtails and jumpers) are used in almost
all products for cable termination of the FIST system. Single-mode
fiber optic cable assemblies are designed for use in telecommunications,
CATV, datacommunications and Wide Area Network applications. |
| Build out
attenuators are used in CATV, telecommunications and data networks,
both for digital and analogue applications. They are designed
to reduce or balance the power in passive optical networks.
The power
received by optical equipment must fall within its operating
range to ensure proper performance and to maximize the life
of optical receivers. |
| The coarse
wavelength division multiplexing technique combines (or multiplexes)
two or more signals with different wavelengths in one common
fiber. The same components can also be used to separate the
wavelengths
(de-multiplexing) at the remote location. The OCM modular packaging
provides a robust and simple method for integrating these devices
into your network. |

These devices are integrated into the TYCO FOSC range of fiber-optic
splicing trays. This allows for easy integration in enclosures,
wall-mount boxes, or ODFs. |
| Single mode
wideband couplers/splitters are passive optical devices that
split and combine light in fiber networks. The OCM modular packaging
provides a robust and simple method for integrating these devices
into your network.
A wide selection of split ratios and connector types ensure
long lasting compatibility. These components are intended for
indoor use or in weather proof enclosures that have or exceed
an IP65, NEMA 4x sealing rating. |

| Singlemode
wideband couplers/splitters are branching devices available
in a wide range of styles and sizes to split and combine light.
The OCC1A product range consists of splitters based on fused
biconic tapered technology. The splitters are available in light
duty (250 micron fibers), medium duty (900 micron fibers) or
heavy duty (2.0mm) versions. |
